McLeod Software announced that its 2013 calendar year set a new record for the fourth straight year. The company’s overall sales growth exceeded 30 percent of the previous year, 2012, which had set an all‐time record for sales and revenue.

The company continues to invest in product development at a record pace. In 2013 McLeod had the largest new product releases in the company’s 29 year history.

“We are seeing the better‐managed transportation companies move to a platform that allows them to act quickly when market opportunities present themselves,” said Tom McLeod, President and CEO of McLeod Software. “Our expanding sales levels are enabling expanded investment in product development, creating an ‘upward spiral’ for our customers.”

In 2013 the company introduced a number of significant products including:

McLeod CRM, a brand new module for McLeod Software customers that added a complete native Customer Relationship Management system to the LoadMaster and PowerBroker systems. With a configurable sales process definition, users can identify and track prospects through the sales process.

The new McLeod FlowLogix visual workflow tool allows for the creation of process workflows and business process automation solutions across LoadMaster and PowerBroker systems. By using the visual design and testing tools, McLeod customers can now create their own custom workflows to support automated business processes across the entire spectrum of their enterprise, including external systems.

McLeod Navigator is the latest addition to the company’s family of business intelligence tools for the LoadMaster and PowerBroker systems. Navigator is deployed using a configurable KPI dashboard designed around the Balanced Scorecard concept which seeks to help managers and end users view and understand their Key Performance Indicators in the context of the company’s strategic goals.

The McLeod Carrier‐Broker Exchange (CBE)  is a new private marketplace available only to McLeod Software customers running LoadMaster and PowerBroker. PowerBroker users at CBE subscriber companies can selectively post available loads to the exchange, and they will instantly be available on the order planning boards of LoadMaster users at carrier customers who subscribe to CBE. The carrier can then select the load they have an available tractor for and negotiate for that load with the broker.
