Pre Pass Info Rm Devices 1 2017 04 26 17 11HELP Inc., the provider of PrePass, introduced a new business intelligence tool and data system that motor carriers can use to manage safety data.

Over 550,000 commercial trucks from more than 51,000 fleets utilize PrePass for bypassing and electronic toll payment. The new system, called InfoRM for Information & Reports Manager, is offered to PrePass customers at no additional cost.

An online demo given to the trade press on April 26 showed how motor carriers can use the tool to quickly identify details about truck inspections that impact their safety and ISS scores, which largely determine eligibility for weigh station bypass.

InfoRM compiles Inspection Selection System (ISS) score factors from the most current data sets and generates a company snapshot. By using the tool, fleets can visually analyze roadside inspections to determine where, when and why their ISS safety scores might fluctuate.

InfoRM’s data includes CVIEW/SAFER carrier records maintained by the FMCSA, and also information provided by more than 100 different government sources.

Info Rm Monitor 1920x1536 2017 04 26 17 13“Fleets need a simple way to measure their performance and improve weigh state bypass rates,” said Karen Rasmussen, president and chief executive officer of HELP. “InfoRM’s data dashboards also enable fleets to create awareness across the organization, facilitating improvements in areas including vehicle maintenance, driver behavior, uptime and safety.”

While safety data has always been available to PrePass customers, the public-private partnership of HELP, Inc., says this is the first time the data has been aggregated as an interactive application.

The features of the new business intelligence tool include:

  • An interactive map of truck inspection and violations filtered by state, city, and highway
  • Filters to search by VIN number, site, violation type and other parameters to identify trends;
  • Historical views of inspections and violations, with the ability to export data for reporting purposes.

To access the InfoRM system, customers contact PrePass at (800) 773-7277 to set up an InfoRM account.
