Purkeys’ Direct Nosebox line is designed to allow fleets to use the functionality of both the nosebox and liftgate charging system in one replaceable receptacle, freeing up space on the front of the trailer. All three models – Direct Plus, Direct Flex and Direct Max – are engineered to help maintain and protect batteries while maximizing their life and are designed to continue charging for a short period after the tractor is turned off. An interior light timer control and easy-to-read LED indicators allow the driver to select whether the trailer’s lights remain on for 30, 60 or 90 minutes. The noseboxes are engineered for easy installation, inspection and troubleshooting.
