Registration opens for TMC annual meeting

The American Trucking Associations’ Technology and Maintenance Council has opened the registration period for its 2018 Annual Meeting and Transportation Technology Exhibition, which will be held March 5-8 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta.

The theme of the meeting will be “Driving Excellence Through Expertise,” which will offer attendees educational sessions, a technology tradeshow and more.

“In 2018, TMC will focus on driving excellence through expertise,” said TMC Executive Director Robert Braswell. “The Council’s 2018 Annual Meeting carries on its tradition of providing thought leadership with a focus on ways to improve sustainability and fuel efficiency.”

Some highlights of the meeting include:

  • Featured speakers Carlton Rose, president of Global Fleet Maintenance and Engineering with UPS, and Tom Nichols, author of “The Death of Expertise”
  • More than 300 exhibitors
  • Fleet-organized educational topics on topics including heavy-duty electrification, virtual reality technology and its application to fleet maintenance training and more

Early registration is available through Jan. 26. TMC or ATA members can register for $650, non-members can register for $750 and first-time attendees can attend for $450 as a TMC/ATA member or $550 for non-members.
