Garmin offers its dezl navigation device in two models. Screen size is the key difference between the two; the 760LMT has a 7” screen and the 560LMT has a 5” screen. The 760LMT also has a few distinct software features such as being able to link to a free app on a driver’s Android smartphone to use the smartphone’s existing data plan to access real-time information on weather, traffic conditions and images from traffic cameras.

Fleets that reviewed the Garmin dezl gave it high marks for processing speed. It also scored at least a “4” on a scale of 5 for return on investment. The dezl comes with lifetime map support. To update the map software, the dezl can be connected to a computer with Internet access to download the update and transfer it to the device through a USB cord.

Besides navigation, the Garmin dezl comes with software to capture state-by-state mileage and fuel receipts for IFTA tax reporting and to report drivers’ hours of service information.
