CadecIn 1987, Cadec became the first company to start providing compliant software for automatically tracking drivers’ hours of service information in cooperation with the Department of Transportation and Frito Lay.

Since it was founded in 1976, Cadec has been focused on developing mobile fleet management systems to meet the needs of private fleets.

Cadec’s offers its DOT logs software as an option on its PowerVue in-cab computing platform. PowerVue is compatible with a range of Windows Mobile devices for display options for use both inside and outside the cab.

Fleets who reviewed Cadec’s electronic logging application gave it the highest score, on average, for data integration. The cost of system administration was one of three review categories with the lowest average scores of 3.3.
