Rush Truck Centers has stepped into the e-commerce space.

The company announced Monday at ATA‘s Technology & Maintenance Council (TMC) Annual Meeting in Atlanta the introduction of RushCare Parts Connect, an easy-to-use online parts ordering system that provides customers the ability to shop for and order parts from the entirety of company’s 22-state dealer network.

Available now, RushCare Parts Connect is an extension of the parts tool used by Rush associates within its 120-plus locations, says Mike Eppes, managing vice president, parts. The system offers customers access to hundreds of thousands of in-stock parts numbers found in the company’s $250 million national inventory, as well as personalized results based on each customer’s parts and service history with Rush Truck Centers and provides related and alternate parts options with each search.

Rush Chairman, President and CEO Rusty Rush says RushCare Service Connect is just another step in the company’s quest to be a full solutions provider for the carrier community. “We believe this is cutting edge,” he says.

In developing the solution, Eppes adds Rush worked with its supplier partners to provide full-color inventory, VMRS data and specifications, “making it easy to navigate and search so our customers can use it to shop for parts wherever and whenever is most convenient for them,” he says. Additionally, Eppes says most customer orders placed early in the day can be delivered same day, and when customers are unable to find a component at their local Rush dealer they have the option to search the company’s national parts database to find the closest location that can service their request.

RushCare Service Connect is available to all customers. Eppes says customers can quickly register and use the ordering system by navigating to the Rush Truck Center homepage and selecting the Buy Parts option in the top right corner.

“We are proud to offer our customers unparalleled reach and scale for parts for their heavy- and medium-duty trucks,” says Eppes. “RushCare Parts Connect is the natural extension of the superior service our parts professionals provide each and every day.”
