Satish Jindel to keynote CLI user conference

Satish Jindel, a highly-regarded and much sought-after transportation industry consultant, will discuss “Business Not As Usual: Why Your Business Strategy Must Change” at the annual Carrier Logistics Inc. User Group Conference, “Accelerate Ahead 2011,” to be held on April 28-29 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in White Plains, N.Y. Jindel is the president of SJ Consulting Group.

Attendees will include system users, managers and senior executives representing LTL, courier, and multi-stop delivery companies from throughout North America. Participants will learn about the latest rating and dispatch enhancements and billing innovations, and witness the unveiling of a brand new broker system for non-asset based companies. They will also hear and participate in discussions of business process management, web capabilities, operations management, and financial reports.

Day two of the conference will begin with an executive-level discussion of the state of the industry by Ken Hoexter, senior transportation analyst from BofA Merrill Lynch. Hoexter will update attendees on the trends in each transportation mode, providing much-needed competitive intelligence to transportation company managers.

Conference attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the latest developments to the FACTS system and meet one-on-one with CLI subject experts and with solution providers who work side-by-side with CLI.

A panel of CLI experts will answer system users’ questions. The conference format also enables users to network with industry peers and provide feedback to CLI on future system enhancements. In-depth sessions will examine the latest innovations in mapping, electronic data interchange (EDI), information system management, and human resources/payroll. General sessions will be dedicated to examining how Social Media is being used by transportation companies and “SaaS Demystified” will clarify what the “cloud” is and how it can be used by CLI clients.
