Schneider Logistics Inc. recently announced that it has completed integration of the four logistics companies the organization has acquired since 2005. As of April 1, American Port Services, Powers Transportation, American Overseas Logistics and BaoYun Logistics are fully integrated entities, allowing Schneider Logistics to offer an integrated solution to customers’ international logistics needs.

“Schneider has been providing logistics services to customers in North America and abroad for more than 10 years,” says Tom Escott, president of Green Bay, Wis.-based Schneider Logistics. “Our strategic acquisitions within the last three years have significantly built out our international service offerings. Now, as one company, we present a single-source solution for our customers’ international supply chains, from a shipment’s critical first mile to its final destination.”

Schneider Logistics says that as a result of its strategic acquisitions and successful integration, today the company provides comprehensive door-to-door logistics services, including transportation management, freight brokerage, air/ocean freight forwarding, customs house brokerage, transloading and distribution, supply chain management, supply chain advisory services and freight audit and payment (Europe) – all under the Schneider Logistics logo. Customers in North America, Europe and China are benefiting from Schneider Logistics’ unique combination of domestic and international services for their door-to-door needs, according to the company.

The recently integrated Schneider Logistics has also merged its website into the virtual home of the Schneider enterprise, www.schneider.com. The company says the site recently was redesigned to embrace the tradition of Schneider orange and provide site visitors with enhanced capabilities, such as streamlined navigation and search engine focus.
