Tonnage up 2.1% in December
The American Trucking Association’s advance seasonally adjusted For-Hire Truck Tonnage Index climbed 2.1 percent in December, final estimates from the 2007 Commodity Flow Survey how the nation’s freight transportation system transported 12.5 billion tons of raw material and finished goods and the Freight Transportation Services Index rose 1.8 percent in November.
