Trailer technicians will have the chance to compete on a new competition track this fall at TMCSuperTech 2016.
The American Trucking Associations’ Technology and Maintenance Council added the Trailer Technician Competition Track that will run concurrently with the traditional commercial vehicle technician track, but will offer more specialized stations for trailer techs, along with a few stations common to all technicians competing in the event.
The track will include 21 stations including a written test and a number of skill-specific stations.
TMCSuperTech 2016 is scheduled for Sept. 18-21 at the Raleigh Convention Center in Raleigh, N.C. Registration for the competition begins Aug. 1.
