Meritor WABCO’s new E-version ABS system with Power Line Carrier communications technology allows data and power to be transmitted simultaneously on the ABS power wire. The system also provides the foundation for communication of a variety of other information between the tractor and trailer in the future.
The system will be available immediately to all truck manufacturers and users in a wide range of configurations. Other premium features and benefits include: configurations to meet virtually any application in terms of numbers of sensors and modulators; easy-to-use diagnostics including standard blink codes; Meritor WABCO’s exclusive PC software, Pro-Link 9000 and Pro-Link Plus. The tractor ABS can be used to diagnose the Easy Stop trailer ABS.
Automatic Traction Control is an option on all ABS ECU configurations. Roll Stability Control is an option with frame-mounted ECUs for select applications.
