Vnomics names new chief technology officer

PalumVnomics Corp. announced that Lloyd Palum has been named the company’s Chief Technology Officer. The promotion follows the introduction of the Vnomics True Fuel standalone fuel optimization solution.

His expertise in mobile technologies, machine learning analytics and cloud computing are gaining industry recognition for Vnomics as a leader in value-creating transportation analytics.”

Considered an expert in the design of communication and networking systems, Palum joined Vnomics in 2013. His past experience includes a role in the development of secure mobile wireless system design and the implementation of standards-based embedded software systems for condition-based maintenance.

Palum has a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Boston University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Rochester. He holds five patents in the field of software and wireless communications, has published a number of technical articles, and is a frequent speaker at industry conferences. He previously served as Vnomics’ vice president of engineering.
