Volvo Trucks appoints new president

Volvo Trucks will ring in the new year with a new company president.

Roger Alm has been appointed as president of Volvo Trucks and a new member of Volvo’s Group Executive Board, replacing Claes Nilsson, who will retire from his position Jan. 1.

Alm currently serves as president for the European Division at Volvo Trucks. His career at Volvo Trucks began in 1989 and he has held several senior positions at the company, including as head of operations in Latin America and Europe.
