Werner Enterprises‘ partner truck driving schools, AIT Truck Driver Training and Roadmaster Drivers School, have been named 2018 Military Friendly Schools by G.I. Jobs.

Both AIT locations in Phoenix and Las Vegas, and eight Roadmaster locations, received the designation. Each of the locations will be published online and printed in an issue of G.I. Jobs and the annual Guide to Military Friendly Schools.

“We take great pride in partnering with Roadmaster Drivers School and AIT Truck Driver Training to secure the success of the next generation of drivers for the entire industry,” said President and CEO Derek Leathers. “This recognition aligns with our commitment to hire only the most elite professional drivers in the industry, and our military service members and spouses consistently prove that they are the best of the best.”

Werner was recognized earlier this year as a CCJ Innovator for its efforts to create opportunities for military veterans.
