Stemco toolkit helps speed tire inflation system installation

Stemco Intelligent Transportation Systems, a provider of commercial vehicle tire inflation systems and tire pressure monitoring systems, released the Aeris Installation Toolkit designed to reduce the time required to install the company’s Aeris tire inflation system.

Stemco says the toolkit contains all of the tools needed for axle preparation, which can be the most difficult step in the installation process without the proper tools.

“The Aeris automatic tire inflation system can significantly increase trailer safety and help maximize fuel savings, and its low-maintenance design reduces the total cost of ownership,” says Bob Montgomery, vice president of Intelligent Transportation Systems for Stemco. “For fleets that want to capture these benefits on trailers they already own, this toolkit reduces the time necessary to drill an axle to less than a minute per hole.”
