Con-way Truckload announced it has been named 2011 Truckload Carrier of the Year by Thomas & Betts, a designer, manufacturer and marketer of components used to manage the connection, distribution, transmission and reliability of electrical power in industrial, construction and utility applications.
The award was presented to Con-way Truckload at T&B headquarters in Memphis, Tenn. Con-way said to qualify for the award, it consistently met T&B’s expectations and demands, performing at the highest levels of service. Award criteria were evaluated in a carrier report card measuring service, claims, refused loads and equipment availability.
“At T&B, we have high expectations for carrier performance,” says Dwain Becton, manager of transportation services for T&B. “Con-way Truckload delivers the support, dedication and consistency our customers deserve, and this award is our way of recognizing their superior performance.”
