Longistics announced that its global division, Longistics International, has resigned its operations agreement for Foreign Trade Zone 93 with the Triangle J Council of Governments, the grantee of FTZ 93. Longistics International has operated the Research Triangle FTZ 93, adjacent to RDU International Airport in Raleigh, N.C., for more than 20 years.

FTZs provide international companies a profitable entry into the U.S. marketplace and help U.S. manufacturers level the playing field against their global counterparts. The agreement will run for five years, with a possible extension of 15 additional years.

“Having operated FTZ 93 for more than 20 years, Longistics International is honored to continue to provide our excellent service to our customers, to our state and to our country,” says Duane Long, chairman of Longistics and Longistics International.
