Interstate Distributor Co. announced it will cut seven full days off its driver pay cycle, allowing drivers to be paid four days after the weekly scanning cut-off. Interstate driving associates, who can leverage advanced in-cab technology and scanning to quickly turn delivered loads into pay, also received a new pay package last month.

“In our regular driver calls, we have heard wonderful ideas and suggestions from our driving associates,” says Nick Wakefield, director of human resources and recruiting. “We are excited to be able to react to this feedback with more options for home time, a variety of new quality jobs and pay that rewards drivers for their personal safety and operating performance.”
