Crete imagePegasus TransTech, a provider of enterprise mobility and business process automation applications, has signed and implemented Crete Carrier Corporation on the Transflo Mobile enterprise platform.

Crete Carrier is one of the largest privately-owned trucking companies in the United States and celebrates 50 years of service this year. With the deployment of Transflo Mobile throughout the company’s fleet, more than 5,000 commercial drivers at Crete Carrier will begin to manage their workday through the mobile application.

”We’re seeing a shift in transportation communications and telematics,” stated Dean Troester, chief financial officer of Crete Carrier. “Configuring and deploying a workforce mobile application was simple and cost-effective, and our drivers enjoy having what they need right on their smartphone.”

Using the real-time notifications, videos, and chat functionality of Transflo Mobile, driver managers and dispatchers work with drivers to ensure customer success, the company said. Drivers manage their loads, routes, and documents directly through the app.

”We congratulate Crete Carrier on fifty years of service and industry leadership,” added Frank Adelman, president and chief executive officer of Pegsaus TransTech. “Dean and the leadership team are early adopters of technology, and we’re excited to have them add enterprise mobility to the Transflo imaging and workflow solutions they also use.”

The Transflo Mobile application has an active user base performing over 150 million transactions and communications each year.
