The federal hours of service rules have been exempt for those carrying emergency materials to states effected by Hurricane Sandy, the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration announced in a declaration Monday.

It`s always amazing how the rules can be suspended/ or ignored when it`s convienant for the goverment. This is a prime opportunity to shove these ignorant rules right back in their faces. I wouldn`t run one second over 11 hrs to make Obama look like a hero.
