Kenworth announced it has added nearly 50 more tour stops to the successful Kenworth T680 Road Tour, which kicked off in May.
The T680 tour truck and comprehensive trailer exhibit will visit Kenworth dealerships in 30 states and four provinces from July through October. (See the schedule below.)
The Road Tour features the new EPA SmartWay-Designated T680, which Kenworth bills as its most aerodynamic truck ever. The company says the T680 is designed to maximize performance in line haul, pickup and delivery, and regional hauling operations. Available with a new 76-inch sleeper or as a day cab, the T680 is standard with the 12.9-liter PACCAR MX engine.
“The popular Kenworth T680 Road Tour hosted more than 3,000 customers during its initial 15 visits to Kenworth dealerships throughout the United States and Canada,” said Erik Johnson, Kenworth on-highway marketing manager. “The tour gives customers the chance to experience the T680, which sets a new industry standard of excellence with its superior fuel efficiency, outstanding performance, exceptional styling and extraordinary driver comfort.”

The Road Tour features an interactive, self-guided tour in the spacious Kenworth T680 Tour Trailer. The double-expanding, 53-foot T680 tour trailer has nearly 1,000 square-feet of exhibit space. Visitors can watch a feature video on the “Building of the Kenworth T680”. View T680 displays featuring industry-leading aerodynamics, a full day cab, the new sleeper, seats, trim levels and interior color options, robust effortless-closing doors, best in class headlamp system, and test the new air-assisted hydraulic clutch’s ease of operation.
Additionally, attendees can learn more about the low-emission PACCAR MX engine and the Kenworth NavPlus system with Bluetooth capability for hands-free cell phone calling on real working systems. And don’t forget to explore the displays on Kenworth trucks of the past, Kenworth innovations, prestigious awards and leading partner suppliers.
