Pegasus TransTech, a provider of document scanning applications to the transportation industry, announced that Kwik Trip has signed an agreement to provide Transflo Express truck stop scanning at 11 additional store locations in the Midwest.

With these additions, 13 Kwik Trip travel center stores will now offer full-service Transflo Express scanning. The family-owned business operates the stores in Minnesota and Wisconsin as Kwik Trip; all stores in Iowa are named Kwik Star.

With Transflo Express drivers simply hand their trip documents to a trained cashier at the fuel counter for scanning. In seconds, the documents are sent electronically to the fleet or third party logistics provider for immediate billing and payroll processing.

Besides the convenience of scanning documents at Kwik Trip travel centers located on major truck routes in the Midwest, drivers are drawn to Kwik Trip for its fresh food and dairy products, most of which the La Crosse, Wis.-based company makes from scratch. Kwik Trip uses its own truck fleet to make daily deliveries to all stores.

“One of our core values is innovation,” said Steve Wrobel, a spokesperson for Kwik Trip. “Whether it is with our food preparation or with how we serve our diesel customers, innovation is the driving force for doing whatever we can do to attract more customers and serve them in a better way.”

Kwik Trip has offered Transflo Express in two locations in Wisconsin since May 2013: Tomah (I-94, Exit 143) and Black River Falls (I-94, Exit 116). Transflo Express will be available at the following 10 store locations starting in March and April 2014.

Minnesota: Dakota (I-90, Exit 267), Owatonna (I-35, Exit 45) and Mankato (US-169).

Wisconsin: Mauston (I-90/I-94, Exit 69), Baldwin (I-94, Exit 19), Wilson (I-94, Exit 28), Oshkosh (Hwy-41, Exit 124), Plover (I-39, Exit 151) and Bonduel (WI-117).

Iowa: Brooklyn (I-80, Exit 201).

The 13th location in Bloomer, Wis. (Hwy-53, Exit 110), is currently under construction and set to open this fall.
