Mack Trucks will appear this week on National Geographic Channel’s new series “America’s Lost Treasures.” The episode, featuring a fully restored 1963 Mack B-813 model, airs Wednesday, July 25, from 9 to 10 p.m. ET.

During production, host Curt Doussett and the truck’s owner visited the Mack Trucks Historical Museum at the Mack Customer Center in Allentown, Pa., to meet with museum curator Don Schumaker for an assessment of the truck as they sought to discover whether the vintage bulldog was truly a lost treasure.

“The truck is immaculate,” says Schumaker, who estimated only about 30 of the 930 B-813 models originally produced still exist and are restored. “By far, this has to be one of the most perfect restorations. You almost have to look at something like this as being priceless.”
