MacKay & Co. announced that two veteran executives have been promoted to vice presidents of the company. John Blodgett has been promoted to vice president of sales and marketing, and Molly MacKay Zacker is the newly appointed vice president of operations.

Blodgett joined in 1993 as research associate, became a project manager in 1995 and moved into sales and marketing in 2000. Prior to joining MacKay, Blodgett worked for John Fluke Manufacturing, Gould Electronics and Caterpillar dealer Syracuse Supply Co. in a variety of sales positions.

MacKay Zacker served as an intern for the company in the early 1980s and briefly as a research associate in 1988-1990. She rejoined the company in 1998 as operations associate and since has expanded her responsibilities in operations and research.

Blodgett and MacKay Zacker join David Fulghum, vice president of information technology and research, as the three members of the company’s operating committee.
