Joe Mejaly, vice president and president of Meritor’s aftermarket and trailer segment, is leaving the component manufacturer after 27 years, Meritor announced Monday. Perdo Ferro is replacing him, the company says, and will manage “all aspects of the company’s aftermarket and trailer businesses,” says an announcement from the company.

Mejaly’s “contributions are largely responsible for the world class aftermarket distribution network we have today. We thank him for his service and wish him success in his future,” said Meritor CEO Chip McClure.

Meritor also has moved Tim Bowes to the vice president and president positions of the company’s new commercial truck and industrial segment, where he will oversee Meritor’s drivetrain systems and components for medium- and heavy-duty trucks worldwide.
