ExxonMobil Fuels & Lubricants, a division of Exxon Mobil Corporation, has announced that Daimler Trucks has chosen Mobil Delvac-branded heavy-duty diesel engine oils for factory-fill in its Freightliner- and Western Star-branded vehicles, including the Freightliner Cascadia Evolution model.

Daimler will use Mobil Delvac 1300 Super 15W-40 heavy-duty diesel engine oil in nearly all Freightliner- and Western Star-branded Class 8 trucks. The company’s Cascadia Evolution models will use Mobil Delvac 1300 Super 10W-30, a low-viscosity, heavy-duty diesel engine oil that can help fleet managers and owner-operators run smart.

“Daimler Trucks has a longstanding reputation of building tough trucks that are innovative, efficient and built to withstand the most challenging conditions on the road,” said Thomas Segletes, ExxonMobil commercial vehicle lubricants marketing supervisor, Americas. “With Mobil Delvac heavy-duty diesel lubricants being chosen as the factory-fill oils for all Freightliner and Western Star models, we look forward to building upon the many success stories we have of owner-operators and fleet managers who have long relied on Mobil Delvac-branded lubricants to protect their vehicles.”
