Palfinger says it officially extended its roots in Ohio by purchasing the property and building of Tiffin Loader Crane in Tiffin, Ohio, on December 27, 2012.
Tiffin Loader Crane began selling and installing knuckle boom cranes in 1985. Since that time, Palfinger says Tiffin has become a world class installation and distribution center and a leading example of a successful Palfinger dealer. The Tiffin location also serves as a manufacturing site for the new PALFINGER GT brand of truck-mounted forklifts.
The company says a strong relationship has always been evident between Palfinger and Tiffin Loader Crane, dating back to 1991 when Tiffin Loader Crane became the largest independent dealer for Palfinger. Palfinger acquired the company in 2000, making Tiffin its U.S. home.
