PeopleNet, a provider of Internet-based and integrated onboard computing and mobile communications systems, announced that it has published a new website designed to help fleet professionals prepare for a smooth transition to the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration’s Compliance Safety Accountability regime.

PeopleNet says it will update CSA University (www.csauniversity.com) as it continues to develop additional content and add more interactive tools as they become available. Currently, the site offers a CSA IQ test, white papers, newsletter, webinars and other content to help decipher the impact of the new regulatory environment.

“We’ve expanded our CSA education initiative from webinars to a more comprehensive website so trucking companies have a single resource to help them understand how CSA will affect their fleet,” says Jim Angel, PeopleNet safety and compliance product manager. “That’s why certain parts of the site speak to carriers of different sizes since the impact of CSA varies depending on fleet size and scores. The site also discusses business processes that need changing to adapt to CSA.”

The first CSA University newsletter was distributed on March 2 via e-mail to subscribers of CCJ and Overdrive magazines. To access the first edition and sign up for subsequent issues, assess your CSA IQ test, register for upcoming webinars and download whitepapers and other tools, call 888-346-3486 or go to www.csauniversity.com.
