The aftermarket parts distribution center of Utility Trailer Manufacturing Co. has moved to a new location in Batavia, Ohio. The new distribution center is more than three times larger than the previous location in Sharonville, Ohio. The new location encompasses 21 acres of land with a 243,000-square-foot warehouse, a 10,000-square-foot office, 24 dock doors and parking spaces for 36 trailers.

“The new Batavia parts distribution center is part of Utility Trailer Manufacturing Company’s and the Bennett family’s ongoing commitment to continue to meet the growth and needs of its dealer network,” says Stephen Bennett, vice president. “Batavia will allow us to increase our offering of heavy-duty aftermarket products and services to our customers.”

More than 5,000 stocked items and 200 Utility aftermarket parts suppliers currently are shipping from the new location. Utility says the move is part of its strategic plan to provide a centralized shipping point for reaching all parts of North America and to increase capacity to meet current demands by offering more parts from more suppliers.
