The trucks will be implemented onto dedicated routes in the Savannah area to service HMGMA.

Benore drivers recently completed an in-depth training program to successfully deploy the eco-friendly trucks on their inaugural routes, which began in early January.

Based in Spartanburg County, South Carolina, Benore initially began the operation with four hydrogen trucks and expanded to 14 total this month. The trucks join eight electric vehicles among Benore's sustainable transport solutions.

“These hydrogen fuel cell trucks represent a significant step forward for Benore and our ability to deliver innovative, sustainable logistics solutions,” said Dennis Kunz, vice president of revenue strategy and operation development. “Our partnerships with both Hyundai and Glovis are key to our company’s mission and the values we prioritize around sustainability and exploring advanced technology.”

Under the partnership, Hyundai Motor Group is responsible for manufacturing the Hydrogen Trucks, while HTWO Logistics, a joint-venture between Hyundai and Glovis America, oversees the deployment of the fleet. Benore manages the fleet’s daily logistics, ensuring Just-In-Time and Just-In-Sequence operations that meet the demands of the Glovis EV contract.
