SPX Service Solutions introduced the ACR 2000, an air conditioning service center for R-134a refrigerants.

Features of the ACR 2000 include an automatic refrigerant refill, eliminating the usual 30-minute refill time. The unit also features reduced recovery and evacuation times, the company says. A red light on top of the unit flashes to alert technicians when a process is complete. The product has data snapshot capabilities, which means technicians can produce a printout of key diagnostic factors and attach to a repair order, if necessary.

The unit’s vacuum pump requires no oil, offering an 80 percent reduction in maintenance, the company says.
