The deadline for entries in next year’s Commercial Fleet Graphics Awards has been extended until Jan. 15, 2002. Each year, Commercial Carrier Journal and the National Private Truck Council recognize leaders in vehicle graphic design excellence.

The contest is open to all fleets, private and for-hire, owned or leased, operating truck, truck-trailer, bus or mixed fleets. Any vehicle type can win, from small vans and mini-pickups to turnpike triples. One-of-a-kind designs, such as show trucks and car-only fleets are excluded.

Winners are chosen in separate categories for daylight visibility and reflective materials visible at night. Winning entries receive two plaques, one for the fleet and one for the designer. First-, second- and third- place awards are presented at a special ceremony during the NPTC annual meeting, and photos of winning entries are published in CCJ.

To enter, obtain an entry form by contacting Paul Richards, CCJ, 643 Lancaster Ave., Berwyn, PA 19312; telephone (610) 993-9430, e-mail [email protected].
