Wix Filtration Products’ XD (Extended Drain) line of heavy-duty WIX oil filters use Spin-Flow Technology. The XD line also features nylon fins that spin incoming contaminated oil in a clockwise, centrifugal flow to disperse heavy contaminants; a glass-filled nylon spinner that mixes oil from the course and fine media sections in a counter-clockwise flow on the clean side of the filter; and a multi-composite media in the coarse filtration unit.
