John May, an Icon Transportation employee-owner, recently presented a HP Compaq notebook PC to the Remington Carpenter Township Public Library in Remington, Ind., in the company’s name.
The library did not have enough money budgeted for another computer, and a grant would have taken many months.
The notebook computer, which was donated Aug. 18, will enable the director and library staff to utilize the Internet and design newsletters, fliers, PowerPoint presentations and a future website.
