GE Commercial Finance Fleet Services has announced an enhanced direct-to-employee remarketing channel that will allow its customers to sell their vehicles in a timely manner through an online portal, giving their employees the option to purchase a vehicle at a discounted price.
GE Commercial Finance Fleet Services, based in Eden Prairie, Minn., has teamed up with Remarketing Solutions, a wholly owned subsidiary of Manheim, and Fourth Fleet Financial to develop a direct-to-employee online remarketing channel that provides GE customers with a package solution that includes inspections, transportation and financing. According to GE, this integrated approach facilitates the most comprehensive and advanced remarketing channel in the industry.
GE’s driver channel and online employee channel is designed for customers to connect their employees with company vehicles. Through the driver channel, drivers have the opportunity to purchase their company vehicles either on request or automatically prior to the arrival of their new vehicle. The online channel takes it one step further and advertises the available vehicles on a website for all company employees. Fourth Fleet provides access to financing.
