Dallas-based Kitty Hawk’s air cargo subsidiary reportedly will open a Dallas-Fort Worth hub for its new ground freight business.
The Dallas Morning News reported Monday, Dec. 12 that Kitty Hawk Cargo Inc.’s “less-than-truckload” scheduled service will begin Jan. 2 and will connect the North Texas hub with facilities in the Midwest, and East and West Coasts.
The Dallas-based operator, whose main business is overnight air freight service for heavy cargo, has been building a national network of trucking service since October, according to the Morning News. Kitty Hawk expects its truck network to reach 46 markets by April.
