Sabin Metal Corp. has announced a private transportation subsidiary to serve its plant in Williston, N.D. Sabin International Logistics Corp., the new subsidiary, hopes to begin running trucks for Williston by late January, general manager Dan Henderson says.

“Transportation is more expensive and harder to obtain,” Henderson says. “There is a distinctive shortage of qualified drivers. Sabin Metal Corp. has organized a new corporation designed to provide each of the Sabin plant’s transportation and logistic functions.” The trucking subsidiary can be hired by other companies as needed, he says.

Sabin Metal operates three plants that process precious metals: Its main plant is in Scottsville, N.Y.
