Barr-Nunn Transportation will begin paying company drivers and owner-operators practical mile pay, effective May 1. The company says the new program will not match hub miles – exact miles driven – but will be closer than industry-standard Rand McNally miles.

Additionally, the fleet is increasing its appreciation bonus to $600, paid every 60,000 miles. Drivers paid on a weekly basis will receive a $600 bonus on their anniversary date.

Effective Feb. 10, linehaul pay for over-the-road drivers with six or fewer years of experience will increase to 40 cents per mile; pay for drivers with more than seven years of experience will increase to 41 cents per mile.
