Millis Transfer now pays trainers by the mile per student on top of their normal mileage pay. Top trainers now can earn 52 cents per mile, according to the carrier.
Their first student will earn trainers another seven cents per mile, and having two students will allow them an extra eight-cents-per-mile pay. This rate of pay will increase to as much as an additional 10 cents per mile with fourth students. Millis says this added pay is treated as a bonus with no hidden deductions.
