YRC Regional Transportation has named Steven D. Gast president and chief executive officer of New Penn Motor Express, based in Lebanon, Pa. Gast joined New Penn in 1997 and has served as vice president of corporate planning and vice president of finance and administration. Prior to joining New Penn, Gast held a variety of executive positions with other regional transportation providers in the Northeast.
