CRST food drive collects 4,000 pounds

CRST Logistics was able to provide a merry Christmas to several food banks across the country. During a weeklong drive, fleet departments collected almost 4,000 pounds of food for the needy.

Held the week of Nov. 2-Dec. 2, the drive pitted six CRST locations – Cedar Rapids and Eldridge, Iowa; Kansas City and St. Louis, Mo.; Birmingham, Ala.; and Dallas — in a contest to collect the most food.

A total 3,953 pounds was collected. The accounting group at the Cedar Rapids location collected more than any other department — 1,258 pounds.
