Less-Than-Truckload carrier Saia has promoted Operations Manager Mike Eley to terminal manager of the company’s Orange, Calif. facility. Ralph Velasquez, also an operations manager, has been promoted to terminal manager of the Los Angeles facility.
Eley, who has worked in the transportation industry for 21 years, has gained extensive experience in the operations of LTL trucking. Velasquez has extensive qualifications from his 18 years in the freight industry.
“Combined, these two employees bring nearly four decades of experience to their new positions, providing added strength to our Los Angeles-area terminal operations team,” said Tony Albanese, senior vice president of sales and operations for Duluth, Ga.-based Saia.
