Eagle Transport opens new terminal

Eagle Transport recently opened a new facility in Charlotte, N.C. as part of a continued effort to expand the carrier’s business. A grand opening has been scheduled for May 16.

A petroleum hauler for the East Coast, the Rocky Mount, N.C.-based company has opened several locations during the past four years. Soon, Eagle will open terminals in Tampa, Fla. and Roanoke, Va.

Eagle’s petroleum carrier terminal is the first of its kind for the Charlotte market, according to company recruiting director Bill George. Amenities include electronic gates for driver security, offices for the staff, a driver break room, a driver training room and a modernized shop.
