McLeod Software has developed a Carrier Insurance Renewal interface with the Registry Monitoring Insurance Services’ automated service. Available for existing LoadMaster customers, the interface interacts in real time with McLeod Software’s LoadMaster enterprise transportation management software solutions.

The interface with RMIS provides carriers and broker logistics access to current information of active carriers’ liability insurance amounts and expiration dates on more than 40,000 carriers, according to McLeod Software. Fully automated with the LoadMaster Dispatch system, the interface with RMIS will not dispatch a load if a carriers’ insurance has expired, the company says.

“The partnership with RMIS will allow our customers to quickly find the equipment and services they need, while reducing the risk of using unauthorized, unsafe or underinsured carriers,” says Rick Halbrooks, vice president of sales and marketing for Birmingham, Ala.-based McLeod Software. “We are pleased to offer our customers another avenue for increasing efficiencies and profitability.”
