Wal-Mart Stores Inc., the world’s largest retailer, announced today, April 5 that it has promoted Johnnie Dobbs to lead the company’s supply chain through its trucking and distribution centers. Dobbs, who previously had run logistics for the eastern United States, replaces Rollin Ford, who was named chief information officer.
Wal-Mart, based in Bentonville, Ark. has 6,200 stores in the United States and abroad.
