Dave Schuler has joined Blackhawk Transport as IT manager, responsible for developing and directing the strategic technology initiatives of Blackhawk Transport and its sister company, Blackhawk Logistics. Schuler also will support the existing IT, data, telecom and wireless infrastructure for the two companies, and manage its growth.
“My goal at Blackhawk is to create a seamless virtual network that connects customers to logistics, loads to transports, drivers to customers and accounting to financial achievement,” says Schuler, who comes to Blackhawk from his own IT and telecommunications consulting firm.
Blackhawk Transport, based in Beloit, Wis., specializes in van, flatbed, dropdeck and Conestoga trailers. The company has terminals in Arizona, Texas, Wisconsin and North Carolina.
