SelecTrucks of Wilmington, Del., has changed its name to SelecTrucks of the Mid-Atlantic to better reflect the region that it represents. Centrally located between New York and Washington, D.C., the center is accessible to major transport industry hubs such as Baltimore, Philadelphia and Newark, N.J. The used truck retailer draws fleet owners and owner-operators from across the eastern seaboard.

“We serve Wilmington-area trucking professionals, but we also take pride in working with customers based throughout the Mid-Atlantic region,” says Bob Heitzman, center manager for SelecTrucks of the Mid-Atlantic. “The new center name more accurately describes the business community that we serve.”

SelecTrucks of the Mid-Atlantic is located off Interstate 495 at the Terminal Avenue/Port of Wilmington exit, which is one of the most active transport centers in the United States. The Port of Wilmington is the largest deepwater port on the Delaware River and handles 5 million tons of import and export cargo per year. SelecTrucks of the Mid-Atlantic is located adjacently and spans about four acres. The center features a vast inventory of up to 170 trucks.

“Whereas our center has a new name, we are proud that our staff remains the same,” says Heitzman. “Returning customers and first-time visitors can expect an expert team and excellent customer service.”

SelecTrucks of the Mid-Atlantic is one of 41 SelecTrucks Centers comprising a network spanning the United States and Canada. SelecTrucks offers a wide selection of used trucks, warranty packages, financing terms and business support. Inventory includes specialty, medium- and heavy-duty trucks, including daycabs and sleeper cabs. SelecTrucks is a division of Freightliner.
