The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration will be conducting two public listening sessions in summer 2006. The meetings will be held on June 29 at the Hilton San Diego Airport/Harbor Island in San Diego and on July 26 at The Renaissance Grand in St. Louis.

These meetings are intended to continue dialogue on the National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners program for interstate commercial motor vehicle drivers and the comprehensive review of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations medical standards.

All interested parties — including medical examiners, motor carriers, drivers, representatives of medical associations, certification and accreditation organizations, medical training organizations, state motor carrier enforcement agencies and safety organizations — are encouraged to attend. Register for the San Diego meeting here, and the St. Louis session here.

More information on the 2006 public listening sessions is available on the NRCME website.
