A railroad upgrade project near Keizer, Ore., will close Chemawa Road just west of Interstate 5 exit 260/260B for 56 hours beginning Friday, May 12 at 9 p.m. The closure is expected to end at 5 a.m. on Monday, May 15.

Local traffic will be detoured using Keizer city streets, but the city’s detour is not authorized for oversize loads. Those trucks will be directed to Salem Parkway (Exit 260A from I-5) to city streets to avoid the closure.
